Because the ambient temperature of the high cold in winter is far lower than the normal operation requirements of the screw air compressor, the viscosity of the air compressor coolant becomes larger, which affects the normal circulation of the air compressor coolant in the cooler. Under the cooling of the cooling fan, the coolant circulation of the air compressor becomes more difficult, which causes failures such as insufficient oil supply of the main engine, high temperature alarm or cracked radiator. The high temperature alarm shutdown causes the screw air compressor to start frequently, which reduces the service life of the screw air compressor motor. The radiators of multiple air compressors are cracked due to the high viscosity of the cooling fluid of the air compressors in winter and the blockage and pressure during the start-up process. The failure rate of the screw air compressor increases, the fuel consumption increases, and the service life of the screw air compressor decreases. In response to the above phenomenon, we improved the original start-up method of the screw air compressor.
The way to start the screw air compressor in winter is: first disconnect the cooling fan switch, press the “Start” button to make the screw air compressor run without load. Observe the operation of the screw air compressor through the monitor. When the temperature of the screw air compressor reaches about 75-80°C during unloading operation, use a temperature measuring gun or touch the temperature of the inlet and outlet of the cooler with your hands to confirm the thermostatic temperature control valve. Open.
If the outlet temperature does not rise, the screw air compressor can continue to run to about 90°C in the unloaded state, and confirm the inlet and outlet of the cooler again. When the temperature difference between the outlet and the inlet is 20-30°C, use The screw air compressor is loaded and running. Check the oil level of the oil tank of the screw air compressor. It is better to keep the oil level in the middle of the oil sight glass during loading operation. When loading and running, the operator must not leave the screw air compressor startup cabinet, and should carefully observe the display data of the screw air compressor, and make an accurate judgment based on the actual displayed results, whether the screw air compressor can continue to run. If the data display is normal, you should mainly observe the exhaust temperature of the screw air compressor at this time. When the temperature rises to 9O-95℃, turn on the fan control switch.
The operator should check the operation status of the unit under full load through the controller, whether there is oil leakage around the unit and the cooler, and wait for the screw air compressor to run for 15 to 25 minutes. If the display is normal, it means that the screw air compressor has entered the normal state. operation, the operator can leave the starter cabinet.
