How to maintain the freeze dryer?

Maintenance of freeze dryer:

1. Note that the ambient temperature of the freeze dryer should not be lower than 10°C, so as to prevent the compressor from being burned due to lack of oil when the refrigeration oil is condensed and replenished in time.

2. Pay attention to whether the inlet temperature of the freeze dryer exceeds the rated value; check whether the high and low pressure of the refrigerant is normal; check the electronic drain of the freeze dryer daily to avoid clogging and loss of drainage. In order to prolong the service life of the drainer, drain the sewage at least once per shift.

3. Pay attention to listen to whether the compressor of the freeze dryer is running smoothly and whether there is any noise; the air bypass valve must be kept in the fully closed position during normal use. When the ambient temperature or water temperature is lower than 1°C, when the dryer is shut down, unscrew the plug on the end cover of the water condenser to release the cooling water in the water condenser to prevent the cooling water from freezing and damaging the condenser.

4. Check the freeze dryer every month.  (1) All electrical contacts are loose；(2) The high voltage protection switch HP is set at 2.1MPa to trip； (3) The low pressure protection switch HP of the freeze dryer is set at 0.33MPa to trip； (4) The compressor overload tripping device of the freeze dryer is set at 23A；  (5) Clean the water cooler and cooling tower every two months； (6) Clean the water filter once a month to ensure that the waterway is unimpeded. If there is no water filter, a filter screen should be installed at the water inlet pipe； (7) Regularly clean the filter element of the air-water separator to avoid excessive pressure drop of the air pipeline due to clogging of the filter element of the air-water separator.
